selling due to cancer, presently owned by retired Saab Master Technician, non smoker, 2000 Nissan Xterra SE 4X4, Automatic, pw, pl, cruise, ac, sunroof, roof rack, vehicle has 201K, bought with blown head gasket, rather than repair, I chose to replace the engine due to the mileage. replaced engine about 1 1/2 years ago with 103K used engine. only driven about 1500 miles since engine was installed. Parts replaced when engine was installed include new timing belt with new tensioner and idler, water pump, exhaust manifolds and gaskets, serpentine belt, front and rear engine seals, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket. body is solid and basically straight and paint is nice, interior is not torn but is a little dirty, has less than normal wear for a 200k vehicle. Transmission and 4 wheel drive work excellent. tires are about 80% tread and are matched raised white letters. Factory 5000lb receiver trailer hitch Vehicle has not been drive for over a year due to needing exhaust system and my illness preventing me from making the needed repairs. needs exhaust behind Catalytic converter. also due to sitting now needs battery, right front brake caliper is hanging up, ABS warning light is on, possibly due to caliper. has minor damage to right front bumper lower rubber section, right front parking light lens is cracked and has about 4 inch scratch on right fender. On Apr-21-17 at 18:32:22 PDT, seller added the following information: I actually managed to crawl underneath the vehicle yesterday for another person. frame has minimal surface rust at places, looks very solid as does the floor, and the brake and fuel lines. there are about a 3 inch diameter rust area on the lower side of each rocker near the center of the rocker. it is were the panel sections join and is just through the first layer of metal, no hole, easily repaired by grinding off and a little bondo. this is the only rust that I found anywhere on the vehicle body. as a previously licensed Pa state inspection mechanic, there are no rust issues that would prevent this vehicle from being legally inspectable other than the exhaust system which appears that is was the factory system and would definitely need replacement by this time on any Nissan vehicle. I was a Saab Master tech at a Nissan/Saab dealership and worked on many Nissan's over the years.
