Vehicle Detail

I’m relisting my Cobra with more information and with new pictures, as I took her out of storage over the weekend. The high-bid on my last week’s auction was $32,000, which met the reserve; however, the car did not sell. I’ve included a picture of the email sent from eBay stating the high-bid of $32,000. I’m not an eBay expert and do not understand why the car did not sell with the reserve met, but I must have done something incorrect with the listing. So here she is again. 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra with only 5,378 Miles. Production number 622 of 4993, and only 1 of 1000 Red/Gray Leather units produced. Factory options include; Vibrant Red Clear-coat Exterior. Opal Grey Leather Interior, Preferred Equipment PKG .250A, Power Equipment Group, Manual Air Conditioning, Front Floor Mats, Clearcoat Paint, Flip-up Open Air Roof, Front License Plate Bracket, 4-Way Power Drivers Seat, Rear Window Defroster, Leather Seat Surface-Artic SPRT. VIN# 1FACP42D0PF136870 This Cobra is 100% original with the exception of the battery, which was exchanged with a proper Ford replacement. This is an investment grade vehicle and has been treated as a collectable it’s entire life. Study the pictures and you will notice there is no road grim build-up anywhere, you will also notice the amazing condition of the paint (never been left in the sun), and how the passenger seat does not even look sat in. All of the factory Grease Markings and Identification VIN Stickers are still on all vehicle components, including the undercarriage. I have all of the original documentation, the factory cassette tape (unopened), belt buckle latch (unopened), SVT letter, SVT certificate, SVT invite to performance school, SVT envelopes, Ford brochure, owner’s manuals, shipping tags, warranty booklets, Ford #1 key chain, both sets of original keys, wallet hide-a-keys, spare tire, inspection receipts; I even have the paper license plate from when the Cobra was registered for the first time (not until 1997). These are all items that have become very hard to find, and are missing from many other partially preserved Cobras. If your plan is to show these vehicles in the future, you will need all of these items to maintain the greatest number of points at shows. There are not many unmolested 93 Cobras remaining. Many are attempting to return modified units back to stock, but once tempered with they can never the same. This is one of the few true survivors. This car is in perfect investment condition. There are no scratches, blemishes, chips, etc… Look at the hood picture, it’s like a mirror. History: The car was purchased new for a collection in 1993 at Magic City Ford in Virginia and immediately put into storage until 1997. In 1997 it was purchased by an attorney in Virginia with only 114 miles. The attorney used the Cobra as a show car for local events until 2001, and then sold it to an enthusiast in Virginia with only 974 miles. The enthusiast used the car a couple times a month in great weather, and always washed and garaged it after each use. I purchased the Cobra from the enthusiast in 2006 with 4800 miles. I purchased the car as an investment, so it has always been stored, only taking it out twice a year to keep things lubricated and from flat spotting. From 2006 to 2017, I’ve put under 600 miles on the odometer. I have documentation (Carfax, Registrations, Plates, inspections, etc…) that document the above full history with all owners names. A perfect preservation of a 24 year-old instant collectable. I’m not sure what else I can add, but please send any questions. Many ask why I am selling… I’m looking to purchase an Audi R8 V-10 Plus, and need to make some room in the stable. You may notice that I also have another car (M3) and motorcycle (Ducati 996) also up for auction.
