Vehicle Detail

1937 Chevrolet Suburban, “Barn Release” . 2nd owner family for 70 plus years is offering it for sale. The first owner was the California Forestry Service. During WW-II, Mr. Burt Hash from Dickens, Texas purchased it in California, and transported his family back home when his service was finished. His daughter Novella and five other Hash children learned to drive in this vehicle. In 1976 Chip Vignolo, son of Novella, drove it fron Dickens to their barn in Bellota, CA. where it remained until the family decided to sell it. After removing many obstacles, we added 2017 air to the tires containing 1976 air, and pushed the vehicle out into the California spring afternoon.Pictured when we were removing the Suburban from the barn are Mr. Hash's daughter Novella, granddaughter Chantel , and great granddaughter Rianna who are the current owners of the car. The vehicle is very original, and in great shape as it has been unmolested in dry California storage for 41 years. Please look carefully at the photos, and ask any questions you may have about its condition. You are welcome to inspect it 25 miles east of Stockton; CA. and if that is not an option, contact us expecting an honest and truthful answer to any questions you may have. Included are the rear seat frames, and another instrument panel. You’ll also get a passel of spiders, an undercoat of Texas dirt topped with 41 years of California dust, and a great project. If need be, we are willing to finance it. Let us know what would work for you before the end of the auction.
