This is a nice driving car that starts easily and drives nicely on local roads. A great car that could use some more restoring, but looks good and runs great. It'll go 60-65 mph with no trouble.*Purchased from owner in TN Feb., 2007 w/49,000 miles on odometer (may have already turned over)*Purchased and installed 1950 OEM rebuilt radio, antenna, noise suppression capacitors, speaker, etc. 2009 *Prior owner had already re-chromed all outside brightwork*Interior had been redone to a gray cloth by prior owner*Dashboard and window bottom panels a green metallic color*Most replacement parts ordered from National Chevy Assoc., Chevs of the 40s, Fifth Avenue *Antique Auto parts, The Filling Station Chevrolet/GMC*Replaced two front tires w/period whitewalls, B F Goodrich, in 2008*Installed two front seat safety lap belts, 2008*Rebuilt carburetor in 2008, replaced motor mounts in 2009*Replaced fuel pump and installed fuel filter 2010*Installed electric windshield motor, new wiper arms and springs in 2015*Converted ignition to electronic ignition in 2015 with new high performance coil*Upgraded to 12 volts, installed alternator, all new bulbs, drop down resistors, voltage reducer pwr. supply to radio in 2012 (12v to 6v)*Installed split manifold Williams headers and exhaust system with glass pack mufflers, 2014*Installed 12 volt gel battery 2012*Replaced emergency brake cables 2008*Replaced all brake shoes, and all wheel brake cylinders 2007*Replaced hood springs 2007*Replaced taillights w/LED lights for brighter look 2013*Installed chrome valve cover 2009*I have 3 large boxes of old parts that were removed when upgrading various components, ignition, generator, voltage regulator, etc. that will go with this sale.*There are some small holes on left driver's side door, below rear view mirror from previous owner, now covered with stickers. The underside of the body and frame shows some minor rust but not bad for a 67 year old car that has not been fully restored. There is an oil leak at the rear of the transmission where the driveshaft comes out. This is very common for this vintage car. * All in all, a great car for anyone who wants a reliable classic car and wants to get into the collector hobby and do some more restoring and customizing.
