Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1970 Bronco Sport. History: The Bronco was originally sold from Hover Ford in Denver, Colorado which is no longer in business (dealer placard on the tailgate still). It was stored for some time and had boxes on the hood, which is where the patina on the hood comes from. The daughter of the original owner brought it down to Texas and I bought it from her in 2009. I then brought the Bronco out to San Diego, CA for a number of years and then brought it back to Texas in 2013 when we moved to Houston. The Bronco has never been repainted, has great patina, has always been stored in a garage, has very minimal rust, has the uncut rear fender, and has been driven frequently during my ownership. I bought it with 70,000 miles and it now has 85,000 miles. The patina is great on the Bronco. It still has the original VIN tag in the glove box and drivers door jamb, it has the yellow ford stamped "OK" marking on the Valve Covers as well as a few other places. I have done extensive maintenance while i've had it as well as some tasteful & functional upgrades. Below are things i've added or replaced as maintenance. Some highlights are: Front Disk Brake conversion, added Power Steering, added a family style roll cage with shoulder seatbelts and new/safer seats. I replaced the factory suspension with a new 3.5" suspension kit that has an 11 pack deaver leaf spring set in the rear, James Duff Radius Arms, and Bilstein 7100 shocks up front. I also converted it to a 4 barrel carburetor (holley truck avenger) that flows through stainless headers and a magna flow muffler. The Bronco drives great and has that classic 302 sound. It has the original 3 Speed Manual transmission on the column (3 on the tree). I still have the original Ford intake manifold, carb, air cleaner, distributer, radius arms, and front seats that can be negotiated post purchase of the Bronco.
