Up for auction is this cool old '47 Dodge. It has the original flathead 6 cylinder 216 CI engine. It starts easy, idles smooth and doesn't smoke. It has lots of pep! The brakes are excellent. The original fluid drive transmission shifts good & it is a 3 speed. It has the original rims and hubcaps with decent radial tires, giving the car a really smooth ride. The paint is about 15 years old, not show quality but presentable with a couple of minor imperfections. Overall it looks nice. The drivers side rear glass has a crack, the windshield has slight fogging near the bottom edge with no visibility problems. The interior was redone about 15 years ago as well. It looks nice and clean.(see pictures) All the lights work, the wipers work, all the gauges work, but the horn does not. The blinkers and brake lights work. Overall this is a good running, driving nice looking old Dodge that is dependable and affordable with a low reserve. It is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
