Vehicle Detail
This car was built in the early 1980s by Mahler Engineering for a SEMA car show. All custom built. Boss 302 V8 with twin roto-master turbos/Weber carbs. Cantilever front steering. Inboard rear brakes. Needs a little work from sitting but in great shape. Car is listed locally, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Buyer responsible for pick up and shipping. Bill of sale, car has never been titled to the best of my knowledge. Only one built, only one like it. Car is called "lightning" which you can see on the gauges. Car will be very fast!On Apr-06-17 at 18:51:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Engine vin # CBFE-6015B Passenger cylinder head # CBFE-6090Aluminum flywheel. On Apr-09-17 at 09:43:32 PDT, seller added the following information: CORRECTION: The engine block casting # is C8FE-6015B. It does have the screw in style freeze plugs. According to the Boss 302 directory this is a 1969 BOSS 302 engine block. (boss302 dot com) The heads appear to be Ford 302 tunnel port heads #C8FE-6090 according to Mustangtek, (mustangtek dot com). It does have a Ford toploader transmission. I have photos of the engine block casting # and the bottom of the transmission. I will try to get a photo of the cylinder head casting #. I have been unable to add or edit the listing photos. If you would like to see the additional photos just message me your email and I will send them to you. I am NOT a FORD expert, all information I have found came from internet searches. I am not trying to misrepresent this car in any way. On Apr-10-17 at 07:24:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I have confirmed the cylinder heads are casting # C8FE-6090-A, which makes them tunnel-port heads. I found this web site with information about them. wrljet dot com. I have several photos of the casting #s available.
