Up for sale is a 1966 VW Beetle that has been sitting in a barn for some time. The Bug was taken off the road in 1995 and sat in a garage, then a barn and for the last 8 months a parking lot. The Beetle has never been in an accident and was loving maintained when it was on the road, with only 2 owners (1 family) since its purchase in 1967. The proof is in the pictures but the interior is in great shape for a 51 year old car that sat in the barn for the last 20. There is a fair amount of surface rust and the side steps are in bad shape however the body is straight and the floors are solid. Because its aircooled the engine is still in perfectly good shape (not seized) and with some TLC this could make a great project car. The engine/ gas tank/ mechanicals will all need to be refreshed as it sat without running for ~10 years. The chrome on the bumpers is starting to show signs of its age and the paint has surface rust but this car could certainly be made great again.
