This 05 Chevy Silverado long bed (8') was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Company(Shelter Ins.)who valued this vehicle at $5900 before damage in consideration of good miles & overall condition. The damage is from a deer strike on the road and will be front bumper, grille, radiator, a/c condenser and left fender. The radiator is not leaking and holding the original anti freeze but has cosmetic damage and something you need to know. No frame or suspension damage. It will drive anywhere and I have been driving for a few days running errands and very satisfied. The engine is the very popular 4.8L V8 that runs smooth and quiet with no smoke, oil leaks or rattles with a good shifting automatic and 2-wheel drive. The pic of dash cluster will show no engine warning lights on but the airbag light is on, no bags deployed or seat belts locked, this generally indicates 1 of the 2 front sensors under the radiator is at fault? You will notice the oil pressure gauge is not working but has good oil pressure and this is a common problem and was no doubt not working for some time as I have this in many Chevy trucks because of drivers in the gauges. The overall truck is in good shape with a good windshield, no rust or hail dings and looks to have been well cared for with average miles and above average condition. The interior is also in good condition and you will be very satisfied. Seats are in good shape, no rips, tears or broke down and no odor from smoke or pets. Carfax reported a "1-Owner" vehicle with a good history and maintenance record from the new car dealer that will be available at no cost by clicking the Carfax logo.
