I bought this car for my girlfriend as a decent car to get her to and from work with good gas mileage. I test drove it. Everything was fine. She had it for 5 days and decided to drive 90mph with the oil light on and I assume she blew a rod. There are no other known issues as she only had it 5 days. There is the typical rust on the bottom of the front fenders. The wheel well cover needs to be removed once a year and clear. The previous owner did not do that. They are about $60 for a new aftermarket fender. Or, you can find these at any junk yard. I decided that the car had too much value to just junk it so I bought a new engine with 67k miles. I have a mechanic who thought he could do it but said he doesn't feel comfortable with this engine swap so he stopped. I can provide docs from the vendor with the 30 days warranty. The original engine is an AVH the new one is an AZG. I called the VW shop and they said they are the same and can swap out. Once fixed this car should be worth about $3k but you can't really put a value on such low miles. I am hoping to just get to even. Please feel free to ask any questions.
