Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a 1979 BMW R100 RS motorcycle with VIN #6185076. This bike has been sitting for the last several years. The bike fires up and runs with a new one year old battery. The bike will need to be gone through though since it has been sitting for so long. The front brake sticks from sitting, has a very small oil leak under the motor, paint on fairing is peeling as shown in pictures, some minor scratches & nicks on tank and the rubber around gauges is weathered & aged. The bike has a low mileage of 47,335, new rear tire & one year old battery and clean fuel tank with no rust. The bike comes with the BMW hard bags. The motorcycle DOES NOT have any warranties either expressed or implied. The sale is AS IS, there are NO REFUNDS or RETURNS & all sales are FINAL. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like. FYI, I am not a BMW person , rider or mechanic. The bike comes with a clear title from the previous owner and will be signed by the executor of the estate. A deposit of $300.00 is required through Paypal within 24 hours of auction ending. Full remaining payment is due within 7 days after the auction has ended. The buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup.
