Vehicle Detail
One of a kind Chevrolet Master Deluxe Coupe. This beauty was done a few years ago in black lacquer beautifully done and hand rubbed, still in excellent condition. As part of my collection, this car has been sparingly driven since its restoration and has had a recent engine upgrade with less than 300 miles on it. All if it's restored life it has been kept in a climate controlled garage and the upholstery is as good as the day it was completed. If you have ever seen a lacquer finish, it has a far superior depth of shine you just can't get with base/clear coat. Hand striped wheels and trim are still in excellent condition with only minor blemishes to the finish (r-rear gas spill damage near the r-rear running board easily touched up. This coupe is an attention-getter with it's carefully fitted fender skirts (this really makes the car) and the tires (5) are new correct radial wide whites. I love to show this car because of its condition but it has been 15 years since I've done that. Just tooling around the neighborhood draws much attention because of its mirror finish, style, and unusual original condition. Mechanically as stated the engine has been restored and is a 216 cu in. inline 6. It has a brand new re-cored radiator. The temperature gauge is inoperative and will need a new engine plug. Wipers are still vacuumed but you can convert to electric. It still has the original 6-volt system. The dual trumpets will need a new relay but sound sweet when bypassed. The radio needs a vibrator tube and is all original. The steering wheel is cracked and can be repaired but the wheel cover shows well and keeps this covered. The clock has been disconnected but works fine. The battery was recently replaced. A complete shop manual comes with this beautiful car. With very little effort it's new owner will be the envy of many aficionados.
