BMW 1985 K100RT – The original “Flying Brick” 18k original miles. Mechanically revived after sitting under a car port for approximately 10 years. Purchased with 13044 miles as a re-entry to motorcycling. Maintenance, cleaning (bead blasting off "aluminum rust"), slight wire harness repair, new injectors, new fuel pump and all new rubber (hoses, tires), complete spline lube - and the bike was running and rolling like new. Passed Maryland MVA inspection for registration. Very comfortable to ride, and very reliable. New BMW OEM BatteryNew Stainless Steel braided brake lines New Progressive rear shock and front springs. New ThrottleMeister and AirWings installed. Supplemental LED lighting for visibility added. Ram Mount ball for accessories. Original BMW Saddlebags (with keys) plus custom made (PVC) rear luggage rack. Spare parts included: Original L/R lower fairings and knee pads, spare fuel pump, original rear shock and springs, new clutch cable, right glove box cover. Bike is mechanically very sound, but requires cosmetic work. Left battery cover missing one inside tab, otherwise, no dents or cracks in panels Bike requires painting (see pictures). LCD clock does not work.
