Up for auction is our personal 1965 Mustang. Only 1500 miles on car since complete restoration. We are the third owners of this car and was purchased from the Base Commander at Robbins Air Force Base in Warner Robbins, GA. This vehicle was her parents car until she received it as part of their estate. The car spent its entire life in Central, FL/GA and when we retired we moved to Missouri. There is absolutely no rust on the car and it wears all of its original sheet metal from the factory. About four years ago it received its first re-spray that is laser straight. The car was taken down to bare metal. At the time a new remanufactured 289 was put in the car as well as having the transmission rebuilt. All of the glass is original (white stamped FOMOCO) except the windshield which was replaced with FOMOCO glass. Both front seats were recovered with all new padding and period correct vinyl along with a new headliner. We had this car restored to as original as possible using the best (Scott Drake) parts. This is an original black on black car that my wife was adamant about keeping bone stock with the 2brl carb and AM Radio. The entire brake system was rebuilt as well. There are only two things on this car that are not stock. We had vintage air added for those hot southern days and nights. I still have the original and functional Heater Core that will come with the car. We also added a dual brake master cylinder (safety) with power brakes. I have a three ring binder with tons of documentation from myself and the previous owner that will come with the car. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
