Owned over 3 years. Selling because lost garage space to wifes new car. Welded in new front floor pans, new rocker panels, and put in another front cross member. New gas tank was previously added. Installed new front shocks, front brake lines and speedometer cable which was missing. Installed new carpeting, custom console, and speaker for original radio which works fine. Installed new convertible top. Brakes are good. Installed new mufflers and manifold gaskets. Adjusted valves and valve cover gaskets. Installed new headlight hi-lo switch, windshield wipers and washer hoses that work fine. Car was painted a couple of years ago and have enough paint and hardener to do again. All original trim in excellent condition. Installed new tires original size with original hubcaps. Car rides and drives well. Only driven locally. Cut out and welded in new metal on all visible rust areas before painting. Classic 1969 corvair convertible and rare because one of just over 500 made in last year of production. A real head turner when on the road.
