True 1988 Y84 RPO GTA Trans Am with a 5.7 motor and automatic transmission. Runs and drives well. Average of only 3,300 miles per year, so a total of 96,000 miles showing on odometer. The car is a factory WS6, and is one of 2,129 black GTA Trans Ams built in 1988. Has the digital dash, and it works fine. (Notice picture showing system check is “OK”) Recent tires, (Hankook Ventus V2), fuel lines and brake lines and a new distributor. Car was repainted prior to my ownership and has a bit of metal flake in it, so it looks really cool with a good wash and wax although it does have a few scratches here and there. Please note that photos of ANY car make the car appear nicer than it is in person....yes, I just typed that, this car looks better in the photos than it does in person, I'm very honest and don't want any issues and you are always free to view the car before you bid. Factory rubber spoiler should be replaced, driver side front fender gfx needs to be replaced and other minor cosmetic issues that can be addressed, or simply driven and enjoyed as it sits. Interior is in very good shape, dash pad has a fine crack, gray cloth GTA seats have NO rips or even wear spots. Has a cat back exhaust that sounds great. Headlights were working fine of course until today when I took photos….driver side headlight motor is bad, however that is an easy and inexpensive fix for the new owner to make and common on these cars. Car was maintained to be a dependable driver and it is. Car is sold "as is" and is located in Will County, Illinois which is to be considered the only proper venue should a dispute arise.
