Up for sale is this very nice 1968 Chevelle Convertible SS Clone. I have owned this car fort the last 13 years, and it always turns heads where ever I go. It has all new SS Trim and badges , but currently has a 327 engine. I am not sure if the motor is original to the car, but believe the transmission is original. The car drives straight, and shifts smoothly and engine does not smoke any. The paint is glossy and shows well but is not perfect . The body of the car is solid and straight with no rust except on lower front fenders which some patch panels could be installed or replaced, and the trunk and floor panels are also solid. The transmission does have a small leak only after sitting a few days but I think it is a minor fix. Also the convertible top pump just went out and will need replacing , but does have all new cylinders, lines installed. Before the new interior was put in , I had the complete floor pan and trunk pan coated in POR 15 Rust Preventative and installed sound deadener material under carpet and in trunk which really helps road noise and worth the money. CAR COVER! NEW MECHANICAL Carburetor, Radiator, Battery, Water Pump, Gas Tank(about 5 years ago),Exhaust pipe ,Front Disc brake conversion kit including, Dual master, Rotors, Brake lines, Pads. Front end has been rebuilt. WHEELS AND TIRES Brand NEW Good Year Eagle RSA Tires, with New 17"American Racing torque thrust polished wheels, 215/55/17 front 235/55/17 rear. HAS A VERY NICE STANCE!
