This is a very nice 1988 Lincoln Town Car Signature series. It has always been garaged kept. All original paint in Light Sandalwood a very nice looking color, upholstery also in Light Sandalwood, original carpet, and original floor mats. This is a true 66,910 mile car, the odometer has not rolled over. This was a one family owned car when I got it a few years ago. I could say I am the second owner but the daughter had to title the car to sell to me when the mother passed away making me the third person to title it. It came from North Carolina before I brought it to East TN. It is a southern car with NO RUST and NOT ACCIDENTS. This car runs, drives and performs very well, could almost say just like it was a new car, but here it is almost 29 years old now. These are wonderful riding cars and they do get reasonably good mileage, I have gotten 24 MPG on the highway. I have driven the car on several two to four hundred mile trips with no problems. The car had a little over 62,000 miles when I got it. I have replaced the rear shocks, the muffler and cross over pipe and the alternator. There is paper work for every single item that has ever been done to this car, including the original window sticker and manual. If you are looking for a well cared for Lincoln of this body style it would be hard to find one any nicer. Take a look at the photos. You can see the original hand applied double pin stripe is still beautiful, the padded top and its stitching is really nice, soft and shiny, no armor all here. The dash is perfect with no cracks or discoloration. The door panels are perfect, usually you see the drivers arm rest is cracked and worn on these cars. The seats are very nice, clean and soft with no stains or smells, a non smoker car. I am a individual collector and this is one of my personal cars. You can see from the photos that the engine compartment is tidy, but it has NEVER been cleaned, also notice the under carriage photos, NEVER CLEANED OR PAINTED OVER. It is just a well maintained and cared for car. Not something that you see from some dealers who dress everything up, nothing to hide on this car. The heat and AC work great, the radio and tape player works. Speed control works, it also had the neat automatic headlight dimmer that is fun to use. The gas gauge will start fluxuating when it gets below a half of tank, I always set the trip meter and fill up around 200 miles to be safe. All the front door windows work perfect, the rear door windows will go down, but you have to help them up, I keep them locked so rear passengers cant roll down, with heat and AC I just never got around to looking into a fix.
