This listing is for a restored, stylish, and head-turning 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible! Important: Some may have noticed that this car was seemingly sold last week and is now being listed again. It's still available for purchase at this point, as the winner of the previous auction was a fake/scam account. Also Noteworthy: Some of the pictures with the top up are from before I painted on the stripe, which is obvious but I figured I'd clear up any confusion. ----------- Restored in 2016, this classic hot rod has been a crowd favorite at car shows and and contests, and I think it's time to sell it to the next collector. My name is Mike and I run an auto restoration shop out of Hedgesville, WV, known as "Caleb's Antique Restoration", you can find us at CalebsAntiqueRestoration.com! I restored this vehicle myself this year, and since it's revival I've driven it a little over 2,000 miles. Note: The ODOMETER shows 92k, which corresponds to the amount of miles on the BODY. The Engine however, only has the aforementioned 2,000 miles on it! :) The drivetrain has been restored, in addition to it's new brakes, new tires, and new black leather interior! It's a very reliable daily driver vehicle with a newly refurbished convertible top to get you through these coming cold months. It runs great and I would drive it anywhere. There are no leaks in the slightest. I have replaced all fluids and gone over all the systems within the car. Air conditioning blows ice cold and the heater blows lava hot if need be. I recently painted the car a nice metallic blue, and just in the past month added the head-turning black stripes that you'll see in the featured pictures. I appreciate it! ----------Relevant Questions About the Restoration Process---------- Here are a few questions that have been asked about the vehicle that may help out!: Question 1: "How are the floors the trunk? power top ? how is the top any rips tears etc?" Yes it is a power top, forgot to add that in. The trunk floors and the convertible top have both been replaced, and are in great shape! Question 2 Tell me about all of the sheetmetal on the car and the frame. I want to know what sheetmetal has been replaced,patched or needs to be. I know these cars well and would be picking up in person with cash. -Body Line Down -The Driver's side floor front was completely replaced -The frame was 100% fine, no touch-ups needed - I did a small patch up on the passenger side floor - And the rear quarter on the passenger side was also replaced Question 3: Hello.Mike just want to make sure it has the dash and cowl vin numbers listed in both areas.California must have both vins to reg here..Can you send or post the pictures..Thank you.. Thanks for your question! To answer, the dash and cowl VIN numbers are indeed there and perfectly visible! Question 4: "WOULD YOU CONSIDER A TRADE?I HAVE A 1991 ZR1 CORVETTE W/ 41K MILES" Normally yes, but the only trade I'm looking for with this particular vehicle would be some sort of three wheeled MOTORCYCLE Question 5: "Nice looking car.. is it a real ss?.. Is there any paperwork... thank you" This is what's known as a "Clone SS" if you've heard of those. Essentially it's the Malibu with all the parts of the SS, so the Dashboard, Bucket Seats, Center Console, Center Shifter, Air Conditioning, Badge, Wiring Harness, and others to name a few! And yes we do indeed have paperwork :) ----------Details about purchasing/payment/shipping/etc----------- Payment/Deposit An $350 deposit is needed in order to reserve the car and take it off the listings for you. This deposit can easily be paid via Paypal, OR by money order if overnighted. Upon purchase of vehicle, full payment must be remitted within 2 weeks of purchase date. Payment may be submitted by either Money Order, Cashier's Check, or Personal Check. If Personal Check is used as payment, check must naturally clear the bank before vehicle is released.
