We are selling our 2004 VW Golf TDI. This car has a lot of miles left in it, just broken in with 144,000 miles. These cars can go double that (my Jetta has 280,000). Selling due to buying a Egolf. We have owned this Golf for 5 years and about 25,000 miles. We had the timing belt replaced when we purchased at 120,000 miles. Over time we have replaced the clutch, rear brake pads, e-brake cables, glow plugs, fuel filter, air filter. It has used Amsoil every 5,000 miles since we owned it. At some point before we purchased it the hood and passenger side fender were replaced, I assuming an accident. The passenger fender has rusted through as you can see in the picture, the hood does have rock chips. Tires are OK at best. Gets 38-49 mpg depending how you are driving, averages 43. This is not in the recall.
