Answer: A reconstructed title is a legal document which will allow you to register this car in all 50 states and internationally as well. The brand "reconstructed" means the vehicle has been involved in a previous accident due to an insurance claim. Question 2: Is there a difference between salvage and reconstructed titles? Answer: Yes there is a big difference. A salvage title will be issued when a vehicle is damaged and has not been repaired yet. A salvage title cannot be registered without an inspection. The process of rebuilding and restoring is called reconstruction. Once a car is repaired a state DMV office will inspect the vehicle and issue a branded/reconstructed title which can be registered. A reconstructed title is issued only on repaired vehicles. Question 3: Will I be able to register this car in my state without any issues? Answer: Yes. Each car that we sell has been inspected by our Oregon DMV and is guaranteed to pass your state registration process. Question 4: How can I be sure the car has been repaired properly? Answer: A team of repair specialists inspects the car for quality of repairs. The inspection process is lengthy and rigorous covering body, mechanical, electrical components. The car than goes through a test drive ranging from 100 - 300 miles. The final stage of the inspection is a OBD-II scan of the car and a final 340 point inspection going through all the switches, knobs, window,wipers, etc. Question 5: How long have you been working with Subaru? Answer: We have been working with repair and service of Subaru since 2008 and have made excellent relationships with our local Subaru parts vendors and companies. Question 6: Can I finance a reconstructed title vehicle? Answer: Yes, many financial institutions (credit unions and banks) will finance a reconstructed title. If a certain bank or credit union that you belong to does not finance please contact us and we will refer to a bank or credit union that will. Please note no bank or credit union will finance a "salvage" title vehicle, it must first be repaired and inspected. Once the vehicle completes the reconstruction process it will be eligible for financing.
