Vehicle Detail
Real TRD PRO. Not faked or fudged with a grille and cheap lift. This is a FACTORY TRD PRO with legit VIN. ALL ACCESORIES IN PICTURES INCLUDED. PRICE LOWERED due to ding/scratch rear rocker/underside passenger door. Everything functions fine. Retrieving deer, took corner too sharp and didn't see rock in time. Rain and poor visibility, my fault. Reduced asking price by $2k. See picture. Just under 7k miles, almost new. In March I paid full sticker of $44,500 just to get this home. Down south I heard that there were/are bidding wars going on for these TRD PROS with some dealers reporting consumers paying $10k over sticker... If you are looking at this, you already know that the TRD PRO is a limited production, special Tundra, which was truly designed for off road performance. They make around 3000 of these a year offered in 3 color choices, and as far as what I've been told the special Quicksand numbers are limited to around 800 production models. This is a 2016 only color option for the TRD PRO. It may "mainstream" in 2017 (like it did on the Tacoma), but it will only ever exist on 800 2016 TRD PRO Tundras. Out of those 800, my understanding is that less than 40% of those got the DC (Double Cab) configuration. In other words, this is a rare bird. Limited edition suspension is an excellent TRD designed Bilstein system with Remote Reservoir and progressive damping with extended bottom out. In other words, you can go really fast off road and still maintain on road daily driveability (unlike Ford's Raptor). .25" TRD Pro skid plates, more supple rear spring pack and a TRD factory lifted stance make it one hell of an adventure rig. My add ons include an ARE Z Series cap, color matched, rails for roof rack, carpeted ceiling, clothes hanger, rear slider with drop down, led ceiling lights, 3 12v power pack, and it has power remote locks with factory Toyota keyfob. It still needs to be wired, was quoted $80. The cap cost me $2900. On top of the cap is a Yakima Mega Warrior rack/basket with gunnel stops. With the bars and mounts this system was around $800. Also included are Black Bushwhacker Fender Flares (non pocketed). Was quoted paint at $400. I liked black better anyway. Wheels are Enkei in a gunmetal color. Tires are BFG All Terrain KO2 in 35x12.5. Still have original factory TRD wheel available seperate, taken off 3 days after purchase. This purchase was over $2000. The bed is sprayed with factory bedliner. There is also a DECKED bed box drawer system ($1200). To manage the sag that was caused by the static load from the cap and bed box, a set of Hellwig Helper springs were installed. These are great and are easily removed but add a significant amount of adjustability for load management. Full leather interior, heated leather upfront (dealer installed), paint protective film, Weather Tech floor mats, navigation and Entune. This 2016 model got an integrated trailer brake and the big fuel tank with a huge cruising range on a full tank. I have a lot wrapped up in this truck, and I love it and wish I could keep it. A recent job change is forcing me to sell. And again, I really don't want to let her go. Oil changed at 5k. To schedule a showing, email or text. This is for serious inquiries only, no joy rides. We will do paperwork at Northeast Credit Union day of sale as that is who holds the title.
