Anyone can buy a Mustang, but only one person can have this beautiful one of a kind. For sale is my gorgeous 1972/2005 Ford Mustang Resto-mod. This car is the result of over 5 years of restoration and modification. I have over 200 pictures documenting the process of this custom transformation. More pictures can be made available to active bidders. The previous owner/builder had this car since 1999. There are too many details to list, however here are the basics. Body and supports were re-fabricated to accommodate a 2005 front end and modification to the rear to accommodate 2005 tail lights. This is ALL metal. The builder was a true artist as is quite clear by reviewing the build pics. Factory correct 351 Cleveland Cobra Jet 4V engine with close ratio top loader 4 speed. Engine has a mild cam and ported heads and is good for 375hp at the wheels. This car runs very strong. Big super comp headers with new dual 3 inch stainless exhaust and flow master mufflers. It sounds awesome. 4 wheel disc brakes, with new front and rear sway bars and bushing kits. New KYB factory spec shocks all around. Ford 9 inch “N” case small bearing rear end. 3.25 gearset. New gas tank, sending unit, gaskets, seals rubber boots. New stainless steel gas line from tank to carb. New 15x9 inch and 15x7 inch American Racing Wheels. These are licensed and made as a Cobra Replica. On those rims are new Goodyear Eagle GT 255/60R17 on the rear, and Goodyear Eagle GS-D 215/55R17 up front which give it a great stance. Active hood air intake. Beautiful custom paint. This car attracts a crowd wherever it goes. I am in the process of scaling down my life and have too many cars.
