Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1949 Ford Custom Coupe, otherwise known as a Shoebox Ford. It is customized all the way around. The front and rear bodywork have been professionally modified with deleted bumpers, quad headlights, quad taillights, relocated gas filler, shaved door handles with remote door pops, which gives it a great street rod look. Compare it to a stock shoebox and you'll see how much has been done to set it apart. You will never find another like this one! It has a satin blue paint job with a metal flake grille and roof that falls into scallops on the decklid, with green pinstriping all the way around. It's lowered 2 inches with disc brakes in the front, air shocks in the rear, and a Shoebox-Central steering upgrade to address the typical Shoebox steering slop. The motor is a Ford 5.0L 302 with an Edelbrock 4bbl, electronic ignition, headers, and exhaust. Has a 3 pass aluminum radiator, electric fan, Ford Racing air cleaner, complete rewire with a Painless wire harness, 12 volt conversion and battery relocated to trunk. C4 transmission with a deep sump aluminum B&M pan (solving the ever-present C4 tranny leak) and floor shifter conversion. Interior has a southwest blanket theme with temp gauge and tachometer. It's in incredible shape with no leaks or mechanical issues. The paint is in great shape with one chip on the hood and it has no rust. This car is very tastefully done and gets looks everywhere it goes. If you're looking for a fun cruiser that turns heads everywhere you go, then look no further! A $500 non-refundable deposit is due via PayPal within 48 hours of the auction's closing. I will work with meeting your carrier for pickup, but the buyer is responsible for all aspects of shipping the vehicle. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out. Don't bid unless you have all your answers and want to own this beautiful street rod!
