Hard to find one this nice ! How Many of these do you see at Car Shows and Cruise Nights ? 1990 Chevrolet 454 SS C/1500 Muscle Truck . These trucks were Brutes Back in their day and only 13,748 were produced in 1990 . GM took the same concept they did back in 1964 when they introduced the first Muscle Car the GTO by putting a big cubic engine in a small car. Jump ahead 26 years later and they did it again only this time with a Pick Up Truck . GM put in a high performance 454 Big Block in a lite weight short bed regular cab two wheel rear drive truck and together with a 3 speed TH 400 transmission running a HD 14 Bolt posi trac 3.73 rear axel ratio they released a beast of a Muscle Truck . All the 1990 models looked the same , black exterior with garnet red plush cloth high back reclining bucket seats with console interior. The 454 SS option stood out with special chrome mag wheels , front spoiler with fog lights , blacked out bumpers, blacked out grille with a red bow tie emblem and large 454 SS graphics . This is one fine example of how cool these trucks were back in the day .Tastefully modified to look and run even more bad ass this one is equipped with a steel cowl induction hood with edlebrock valve covers and air cleaner , shorty headers with true dual exhaust with Flowmasters 44 hi performance mufflers and functioning gauge pillar pod. Other modern day add ons is a CD Player Radio and full over the rail bedliner . The accident reported was with the second owner back in 1998. We have been the owners since 2002 and have had no issues with a lien so not sure why Auto Check shows something, it does have a clear Okla Title. Looking at the report you can follow the mileage from First owner to the Last (us) , this Truck just was not used as your typical daily driver Truck because of its uniqueness to start with.
