1976 Jeep CJ-5 AMC 304ci V8 Engine, 3-Speed 1-OWNER NO RESERVE AUCTION, HIGHEST BIDDER WINS!! 1-OWNER 1976 Jeep CJ-5 with the 304 cubic inch 2 barrel carb AMC V8 Engine and a 3-Speed Manual Transmission. Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) = 3750 lbs. We took this Jeep on trade from the original owner, who bought it brand new in 1976. He kept the Jeep in storage for the majority of its life and only drove it during the summer months. We do specialize in newer Jeep Wranglers, but admit to not have very much knowledge on the CJ-5, so please take a look at the 30+ pictures and we will be glad to help answer any questions that you may have. The odometer shows 43K miles, and the owner did tell us that was the actual mileage, but of course we have no way to confirm this. The Jeep's condition, both cosmetically and mechanically, is pretty amazing. We sent it through our normal inspection process, and only the typical fluid changes and preventative maintenance needed to be done. It drives great. The AMC V8 engine runs great and the 3-Speed Manual Transmission shifts through all of the gears with ease. Everything seems to work properly, including the 4x4. A $169.27 documentary fee is required for every vehicle purchased. Illinois is a "non-title holding state", meaning the bank holds title of any previously financed vehicle. Illinois requires us to provide title within 30 days to the new owner, but we are typically able to do so much sooner. We provide a 30-day temporary tag which allows the vehicle to be driven by the new owner until they are able to register the vehicle in their state. A licensed dealer cannot sell a vehicle if there is a remaining lien on it. All vehicles we sell are free and clear of any remaining liens. All vehicles are sold as-is no warranty, unless they are still under manufacturer's warranty.
