Model Overview The 2013 Volkswagen Passat 3.6SE for sale is offered with the 6-speed automatic with the top-of-the-range 280-horsepower, 3.6L 'VR6' 6-cylinder gasoline engine. The VR6 engines come only with a 6-speed dual clutch DSG automatic transmission with sport mode, paddle shifters, and remarkably quick shifts. The VR6 is the performance pick of the Passat lineup; it's especially strong, smooth and responsive. The rack-and-pinion power steering is light while parking but well-weighted on the highway and the Passat has a nimble feel for a mid-size sedan. The 3.6 SE model also gets a sunroof and chrome-tipped dual exhaust system. All Passat models include six standard airbags--including side-curtain airbags that cover front and rear occupants--plus standard electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes and hydraulic brake assist. The vehicle has been serviced at the local VW dealer throughout my ownership since being purchased there in December of 2014, with 19,011 miles. The car was originally a personal lease, 2nd owner as I understand traded it on another VW, and I am the third owner. I have had a great experience with this car and has been excellent for travelling, no back fatigue on long trips! Vehicle is large, but does not feel large, and has plenty of room for people and cargo! While I have had a great experience with this car it is time to part with her as I now have a company vehicle and no need to have three vehicles.
