The car still feels completely solid. The engine starts, idles, and rev’s beautifully. The optional Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic Transmission (FMX) is smooth and precise. The following maintenance work was done to the car when it was taken out of storage:New gas tankNew sending unitNew TiresNew braking system including the master cylinderNew RadiatorComplete tune-upRebuilt CarbNew BatteryNew Muffler and Tail pipe INTERIOR The interior is completely original and in beautiful condition. The entire interior is in very good to excellent original condition including:Dashboard HeadlinerDoor panelsSeats Sail panelsCarpet with integrated red floor mats Steering wheelSeatbeltsGauges, accessories, and interior lights Chrome trim Wood trim Buttons, levers, and switches EXTERIORThe paint has faded areas, spider webbing, and areas where the paint has flaked off. Ideally, it needs a new paint job but it's a beautiful original that still presents very well. Overall, the sheetmetal is in very good condition with only a few small spots with minor rust. The rest of the exterior is in good to very good condition including:BumpersGrillLensesTrimEmblemsGlassWheels UNDERCARRAIGE The car appears to have been undercoated. The frame is in very good condition with only minor/normal surface rust in some areas. The front driver and passenger side torque boxes will need some attention. Please see pictures. The driver side torque box has some rust and holes. The passenger side torque box was covered over at some point. We havent removed it but assume it will need to be replaced. The areas surrounding both torque boxes are solid. Floors and trunk are in excellent rust free condition.
