I found this 1951 Chevy 5 Window just  north of Kansas City, Missouri. From the looks of it, I believe she spent the  bulk of her years as an old Farm Truck. It is clear that whoever owned her, took  remarkable care of her. She has clearly spent a large portion of time either in  a garage, barn, or under some type of cover. She is far more solid then how you  would typically find them. She is complete and has some beautifully aged patina.  She also has several interesting nuisances such as lights on the top of the cab,  a piece of steel bolted to the side of the passenger side fender (to hold a rod,  ladder?), and within the tailgate, someone at some point implemented a sliding  door. I believe this was done to help disperse feed. It is very unique in its  appearance as it fits the Truck very naturally. Almost like it was a factory  option. It definitely makes for an interesting talking point. The engine within this Chevy appears to  be original. It still has all of its factory components underneath the hood and  along the firewall. It was said to have ran when it was last parked (10+ years  ago). I have not attempted to get it running. The cab of the truck is fairly  solid considering its age. It is definitely far better then most of the ones I  have seen. It will require some sheet metal work. I do have the front bumper for  the Truck but it has been tweaked. All of the glass is within the Truck but the  rear glass, windshield, and side glass are cracked. Both rear corner pieces of  glass are in good shape. Nothing within the dash appears as if it has ever been  removed. This is a great example of a pickup  that needs to be built. It is the perfect candidate for a Rat Rod / Steam Punk  Hot Rod. I do have a clear title for this Chevy. I also have this pickup for  sale locally and I will end the auction early should it sell prior to it ending.  Prior to purchasing, I request that the winning bidder sign a bill of sales & or  sales agreement.
