This car has somewhere north of 138,000 miles. This is a Euro car and was built for the autobahn!LOCATED IN THE USA! BUYER IS FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP AND SHIPMENT. NOTE: This car is NOT a 1980. The car is a 1984 Model! For whatever reason Ebay wouldn't accept my VIN number so I had to select a year pre-1981 which didn't require the VIN to be included. Cosmetic/Body: Overall the car is in fair condition. The paint shows wear and a sunburn! I believe a deep polish would bring back the shine. The body is straight with no real dings, dents, or major scratches. The only rust I see is on the front quarter panels behind the front wheels -See pictures. Tires only have a few thousand miles but appear to dry rotting. Three tires hold air, one does not. The interior will need a good cleaning and some repair work. The soft top was purchased new in 2011 and is still in good shape. The hard top is original and shows to be in fair to good condition. Mechanical/Electrical:Its ALIVE - This car was started and driven today - September 25th 2016! I previously listed this car as a non-running vehicle as it hasn't ran in over 2-3 years. The eBay winner bidder was a flake so I'm relisting. I decided to put a little work effort and try to get the car running. With the use of a new battery and some heavy gauge jumper cables she fired up. I put a gallon of fresh fuel in it and took it on its first ride in nearly 3 years. I would say this car would need a tune-up and a good mechanical run through before she's really road ready. Has power windows & heated seats, which I have no idea if they work or not. Odometer shows 112,183 miles but the speedometer didn't work the last years. It is estimated the car has 138k miles. This is my neighbors car which I have see sit in his yard over the last few years. He purchased in 2011 and has at least $18,000 invested in it. I'm helping him get this unit sold. He simply parked it in 2013 and went untouched since. This car is also listed locally for sale.
