A $169.27 documentary fee is required for every vehicle purchased. Illinois is a "non-title holding state", meaning the bank holds title of any previously financed vehicle. Illinois requires us to provide title within 30 days to the new owner, but we are typically able to do so much sooner. We provide a 30-day temporary tag which allows the vehicle to be driven by the new owner until they are able to register the vehicle in their state.
