1988 Porsche! Project car. I need room in my shop. This is a good solid car. Not junk! See other adds for Porsche parts. I bought this car off a friend a few years ago when he moved and could not take with him. The car was inspected and his daily driver. He planned to make a Track Day / Rally car. This car is exactly same as late model 944,this 924s has the same motor and drive train interior, glass ECT. Not wide fender. From what I understand it is lighter than the 944. And so this makes them better than 944 in some ways! So with this plan he pulled the car into his garage to do some maintenance and upgrades. The things I believe my friend did was things a like a new Saches clutch, new head gasket, new timing belt, intake gaskets! The motor and drive train are all together . The motor cranks but does not start. I belive it is a sensor. The motor is good as it drove into shop. The car has no muffler, no battery, Two tires are in very good like new condition. with the other two being fair.. The body has a some dents. But overall the body is in fair condition. The brakes are dragging from sitting. I dont see any signs of major accidents. There is no major rust or corrosion on the body or frame rot. Doors all open and close very very good.All glass is good. Except for a very tiny chip in windshield that can be fixed. The chip is so small i did not even notice it for years until i cleaned the glass.The interior is in pretty good condition with all the seats in nice shape no holes and I think will clean up very nice. This car has a good drive train and all parts are the same as 944. Removable sunroof. The parts alone on this car are worth thousands. The power windows work.all lights.gauges,wipers. One key works all locks and ignition. everything. Has original Blaupunkt radio but its not installed. Owners manuleand quite a goog amount of service history. I have other cars outside in the weather that are more important than this one to me. It has been keep in my dry shop for past few years. The car needs to be towed. I need this car gone make me an offer! Thanks for looking.
