1962 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 1962 Corvette This stunning 1962 Corvette is an original black plate California car that was put away in storage until its wonderful restoration in 2014. The car was done in gorgeous Absolute Red paint with new red interior. The 327/340 engine was replaced with a crate high performance GM ZZ4 350 with 335hp fueled by a Speed Demon Carb. The original 4 speed transmission has been rebuilt with new clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel. The rear end is positraction with front disc, rear drum brakes and dual master cylinder. Jet coated headers flow into original style exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers giving the car a great “tone”. Some added features for comfort and convenience are a new Stayfast soft top, power windows, and RetroClassic Corvette AM/FM radio with phone connection cord. Everything is in working order. This is a very fun car to drive with great reliability. We invite independent inspections and look at all trades.
