Up for your consideration is a 1968 Triumph GT6 - with overdrive, to US bidders only. Yes, this is the same car that was listed last week. The high bidder of that sale apparently didn't realize that when you win an auction, you're supposed to follow through with the transaction... So, with that being said; The engine runs good with no unwanted noises. It could stand an exhaust and a pair of carb kits. As the photos show, the right floor pan is rusted through and the left side is solid with only surface scaling.There are a couple areas of mild rust, but all in all the rest of the body is pretty solid! With the car being yellow, the surface rust on the back looks much worse than it actually is. The trunk and rear valance are solid. Being that it has been setting since the late 80s, the hydraulics will need a complete going through. It has the 4 speed overdrive transmission which shows no leakage. The shift lever will need the bushing kit. The door glass, quarter, and back glass are in good condition. Though they could stand a bit of lubrication, the windows roll up and down as they should. The windshield does have a scratch from a bad wiper blade. It was pointed out by another Ebay member that the improper fitting of the hood is a result of someone using the wrong bolt on hinges. To repair this issue, one will need hinges from a 68 or earlier GT6 or Spitfire. As far the seats are concerned, there are some holes in the outer covers, but the foam is present and appears firm and usable. The wood dash is in very good condition. Though the clear is peeling, the wood itself is solid and one could give it a good sanding, re clear, and be good to go! I used a gas can, battery, and electric fuel pump (not included) to start the engine and run it only long enough to assure that the engine is good.
