MY car is a 1967 Lotus Europa S1 that I bought new that year from Lotus East in Millerton, NY. Car was driven 13,575 miles between late '67 until early 1972 when it was taken off the road, temporarily, I thought, but then family matters required a different vehicle. My promise to the car was restoration after my retirement but I can no longer do the work and am moving from the area and selling it as a project car requiring complete restoration. This car is in the original configuration with fixed windows and complete wrap around body. Front brake calipers and rear brake shoes are removed to facilitate rolling but are packaged with car along with seat cushions, hub caps, wheel trim and new set of Koni shocks (front 80T-1857, rear 80R-1858). A Lotus work shop manual for all Europa cars is included. Chassis, motor and transmission, metallic interior trim and suspension are intact but with varying degrees of rust. Seat cushions are provided as templates for new ones or to be reupholstered. Body shell is completely fiberglass with flaking paint and requires refinishing but has no collision damage. Interior headliner and other cockpit upholstery need replacement. Engine and transmission are from Renault with Lotus modifications (as are all S1 versions).
