Brought this car home in 2001 and knew it would be a lot of work but I also knew that it would be a beautiful car that would be worth a lot of money when done. My son and I worked on it and then we would stop for a time then back into it then stop again. Never did intend to sell it but now I need the room in the garage--which it has been in since 2001-- and I have never given it the time it deserves. The car is rough--as the pictures show-- but it has "Great Bones". We have done the floorboards and replaced the convertible top cylinders and lines and then replaced the carpeting. The engine is a 305 cubic inch chevy engine 2 barrell. The engine code is VO331DMA. The two barrel carburetor is brand new and has had no gas through it. The fuel pump is brand new also and has had no gas through it either. The brakes have been replaced along with the brake hardware a while ago and also the shocks. The exhaust system was replaced a few years ago also. The VIN shows that it was built in Lord's Town, Ohio and the original color was Verdoro Green with a Ivory White top. It originally came with a 6 cylinder with a trim code of TR207 which is standard vinyl, buckets and Parchment in color. Built in October 1968. The Ohio plant produced 11,649 1969 convertibles. On Jul-28-16 at 14:46:52 PDT, seller added the following information: The truck has in it the white convertible boot, the two NEW mirrors, two front seat belts and the 4 headlight bezels.. The top of the windshield needs the two chrome top pieces replaced and they are included in the sale. I hooked up the battery and the top went right up. Works great. The top looks great -just needs a cleaning although there is no rear window. No Holes or anything. The firewall below the windshield has rot and the truck on the driver side by the weight has some rot.
