Built at the Malvern Morgan works in Wales and first registered on 21st August 1935. The vehicle comes with the original UK buff registration document, which describes the vehicle as a Tricycle, Chassis number D833. Previous owners back to 1953 are listed. Vehicle has been completely renovated. Chassis re-tubed as required. New Ash and Liriodendron wood frame. All outer metal panels new. The vehicle was rebuilt to plans supplied by the Morgan 3 Wheeler club and correct materials used throughout to original specifications. The only original wood reused were the door upper and lower rails. The engine, number MX 787, was rebuilt with new cylinders and pistons to replaced the originals. The originals are available to the new owner, no charge. The transmission is 3 forward gears and reverse. There is no synchromesh of course. Seals were replaced in the gear box. New rear drive chain. Electric accessories all function as intended. Originally 6 volt, the vehicle currently operates with an 8 volt battery whilst still using all the original 6 volt equipment. The cutout is adjusted to operate at 8.2 volts. Lights, horn, speedometer dynamo, starter and windscreen wiper all work. Indicators and brake lights never existed on the car originally. The brakes are still cable operated as they were originally. The seats are air cushions. Please look over the pictures for further details of this unusual vehicle.
