1987 Honda

1987 Honda 200x. Everything works on this bike, key, headlight switches, kill switch, headlight and taillight, front and rear brakes, etc. This was originally a California bike so a lot of the bolts and other areas still show the original plating. Other areas show wear such as frame near the footpegs. The tank is excellent and has not been coated and the inside is pretty clean. The headlight shroud is intact but does show some signs of age. I installed new seat foam supposedly for an 87 but it needs trimmed to make the seat cover fit as perfectly as OEM. It is still pretty nice. I also installed new reproduction scoops. The rear fenders have a few scratches, mostly on the decal and I can include replacement decals. Original fork boots, but one has a tiny tear on the backside. Original clamps as well. The bike has a K&N filter and an aftermarket silencer as well as a twist throttle. Original pieces that are missing also include the toolbox. The original rear tires that hold air are included but the tread is worn. The front tire is original and also shows wear. I am not trying to upsell this bike as I bought it to ride, knowing that the 87 200x was the rarest mass-produced Japanese trike. It has been ridden and is not an unblemished collectors item. I have owned it for about 2 years and it is fun to ride around the yard but I tend to ride my 2 strokes more and would hate to ride this in the Midwest mud too much.
