1996 Mazda MX-5 Miata, 1.8L 5spd manual, 125k original miles. This 1st generation Miata is in good condition, both mechanically and structurally. My daughter is moving away to college, and it's time for a bigger, more practical car. I am an ASE certified mechanic, and have maintained this car since she bought it in 2013. In that time period the car had a new radiator and hoses, bypass and heater hoses, water pump, OE timing belt, tensioner and pulleys, cap/rotor/wires/plugs, roof, radio, rear brakes calipers and pads, front brakes, steering joint dust boots, shift tower bushings and other miscelanios stuff (you can check the reciepts, they're included). Most of this was done when it was purchased to bring it up to snuff, save the water pump and timing belt; that was scheduled maintenance. The transmission, shift tower and differential are using Royal Purple synthetic oil. Synthetic oil is in the engine. Known issues are an A/C condenser drain that is stubborn and needs blown out once a year, which can be done from inside the car unlike most, a driver's side outer door handle that should be replaced, and bad window rubber. The paint is garbage; this is a salvage title car, and the rebuilder obviously spent the money on parts, not paint. It is difficult to tell where it was damaged, but it was very minor frontal damage. It runs, drives, and handles exactly as it should, and is very entertaining. Everything functions correctly. If you want to ship the car, I can make it available for pickup on Mondays. I cannot take it anywhere, as it's plate has already been transfered.
