For auction: 1968 Datsun Roadster 2000 (titled as a 69') 2.0L OHC 5 Speed manual Red exterior Black interior White canvas top American Libre style wheels 86,263 miles (may or may not be actual) Good: -Canvas top is newer, no rips or tears, windows are clear and in good condition (but I never put it up as the Roadster is always garaged) -New Royal Purple fluids (oil, trans, rear diff) -New brake and clutch fluid (flushed both systems) -New gear reduction starter -New oil pan gasket -Long headers -1600 grill -New primed hood (needs paint match) -New coil, spark plugs, wires and battery -Gary Boone electronic distributor -Rust cut out and POR15 on inner cowl -Floors are POR15 -Blacked out bumpers -Clock works (though I'm not sure how accurate it is at keeping time) -Wiper and lights function (turn signals too) -Spare tire jack -Window visors Needs Attention -Paint is not matching in areas (I guess it is hard to match Spanish Red) -Choke is under dash (not a problem unless you are a purist, can be moved back to center console) -Has a dash cap -I believe the carbs need syncing or needs a fuel pump (will start and idle fine, but under load, it will start to sputter and slowly die out) -Has a slight leak from under the engine (hasn't bothered me, because what older vehicles don't have a drip every now and then? I just keep an eye on it) -Trunk key doesn't work (has the emergency wire pull from the locking mechanism, common fix for these cars) -Common second gear grind when down shifting (I shift to neutral and brake when slowing) Winning bidder will need to tow the Roadster or arrange shipping pick up.
