Factory 1961 Chevrolet Apache 10 Carry all 4 x4. Also know as a suburban. This is a true unmolested survivor. I have owned this for 2 years with plans to restore, but just came off a similar restoration. I don’t want this to waste away waiting for me to get motivated for the next one. This truck was owned and a a daily driver of a gentleman for the past 30 years. He passed away 4 years ago. I acquired it from his friend. I drove it home and have driven it every month for the past 2 years. I have put several 60 mile trips on this vehicle and would trust it to go further. The motor is 261 cu that has been rebuilt in the past. The rebuilders tag is visible on the engine block. It runs very smooth and quiet. It holds a high oil pressure. One lock out was seized up when I got it. Other than that the 4 x 4 works correctly. Everything leaks a little oil. Gas gauge is the only thing that doesn’t work. The emergency brake even works. There is the normal rust in the front fenders, hood and floor guards. The radiator seeps at the top. Transmission is M420 4 speed and Rockwell transfer case. The trucks comes with a ton of extra parts including: spare transfer case, spare transmission 4 speed, decent 61 hood with no rust only dents, tons of brake parts all new, spares for almost everything on the motor, rough front end out of GMC similar year, several boxes of parts. Known things on the truck that are new: tail light lenses, front turn lenses, windshield and gasket, all brake parts and shoes, tank has been dropped, cleaned and primed, seat still looks good, 4 tires less than 1000 miles, period 16” wheels off of 1963 4x4 with new paint, both bumpers are near perfect with some new paint, new mirrors. Someone has taken out the slider windows and replaced with smoke tinted flat glass. There are not back seats. Still has the old 17” spare tire under the truck. This is a cool old truck. People flock to it every time I get it out. Clear title. No trades, no help selling. Buyer must pickup here. Deposit required with in 48 hours after the end of the auction. You will need to make arrangements for the pick up at the time the deposit is paid.
