This auction is for a 69 Z28 that has not been daily driven in many years. It does have a fresh engine and is on its way to being a fun Boulevard cruiser. The engine is a non original 350 with a GM aluminum intake and NOS GM valve covers. Also coated headers and a mild hydraulic camshaft. The trans is a nice shifting Muncie 4 speed, also an original 12 bolt posi rearend. The is car has a very nice stance and looks awesome as a patina driver. The rear quarter skins have been replaced, front pans and trunk have had patch work, but usable like they are. The windshield is still the old LOF glass and not cracked. The car has a lot of vintage 70's street machine bolt on parts, traction bars under the 4 leaf springs, header mufflers, cassette player with power booster, L60 rear tires from Jc Penny !! and of course 6x9 speakers in the rear package tray with shag carpet. The previous owner had the car since 1975 and it still has the owners manual in the glove box. This Z28 was built in the first week of December 1968 or 12A as indicated by the trim tag. The X code is marked behind the rear seat as X7 short for X77 so this Z28 was born without drip rail moldings, or lower chrome when it was new.
