1979 Porsche 928. 130000 Kms. This is a Canadian market car. Non-sunroof car. Silver exterior on black leather interior. 220hp 4.5L V8, 0-60 in less than 7 seconds. The car runs and drives well and does not shake or pull at highway speeds. There are no engine warning lights or warning indicators. There are some signs of minor oil and power steering fluid leaks. Tires are in great shape and have lots of tread. Original 16 inch phone dials with 1” wheel spacers on the back tires. No rubbing issues. Always garaged, and adult owed and driven. The exterior looks great for a 35 year old car. The car has been repainted at some point in its life. Paint is in good condition with a couple of spray touch ups on the drivers door. The clear coat is dull on the roof and the rear bumper but is not very noticeable. All exterior lights are functional. The interior is in reasonable condition for is age, but does need some restoration. The dash leather has shrunk and will need to be recovered. Carpets are in decent shape. Drivers power seat intermittent in the forward direction. Heater controls work, but some buttons are broken and loose. Drivers seat has a small tears in the leather. The car has been well cared for and comes with some service records. This is not the complete service history, but some of the work over the last 10-15 years. Some of the major items that have been replaced are: New middle muffler and section of exhaust pipe(2012), power steering rack(2012), Tires(2009), Timing belt(2008 not sure of mileage), Clutch(2001 not sure of mileage). Just completed oil and filter change. Comes with owner’s manual and all factory tools. I can provide electronic copies of the factory service manual, and various other electrical and specification manuals on disc. Also included is a full engine gasket set, Brake calipers, brake parts and various misc parts. The car does have a few issues. Power door locks work intermittently. A/C, cruise control does not work. The car is missing the interior shelf on the passenger side footwell. This car is not a show car, but a decent driver and will require a full restoration. I have owned the car for about 2 years and I am selling the car to buy a newer more practical vehicle. The price is reflective of the condition of the car.
