I have decided to sell my 1970 Plymouth Road Runner. I bought it in July 2007 just after it was fully restored. It looks just as good as the day it was restored. It has always been kept in a climate controlled environment. Nancy H. Ray bought this car new at Alley’s Plymouth Center in Kingsport, TN. She kept this car until 1982 when it was sold to a car collector who then held on to it until 1996. It was fully restored in 2007 by the owner before me. I searched for years to find a car like this. It had everything I wanted except it was an automatic. It was professionally converted to a four-speed manual transmission, and I added a white vinyl top to match the white stripes on the car. I have the original, matching number transmission that came with the car as well as the original steering column. It currently has an aftermarket radio. But, I also have the original AM radio that works well. The engine and the transmission are all matching number. It does have power steering. It is a laser straight car with rust free, all original body panels. The stamped numbers are in the body panels. Also, the paint on the motor is beautiful! All the paint is absolutely magnificent throughout the entire car. The car has never even been washed with a hosepipe. I have always used a water bucket and a microfiber washcloth. The car is ready to show or drive…Show Car! Drives and runs as smooth as the day it was bought. I have never found a Road Runner this nice…both inside and outside.
