I rescued it from sitting outside in the mud. After putting a can of new transmission fluid into it I got it running and I was able to transport it on a trailor to work on it further. We have cleaned it up a lot and have put about $400 into it to have it running well. It needs a good deal of work for someone that would want to drive it around regularly or make into a show car. The person who buys this will understand that this car is probably best for a Fix & Flip deal or that it will still need a good deal of work to get it to regular driving standards. I am confident in saying there is very minimal rust damage. There definitely is a good deal of rust on the underside but as I can remember I have not seen one rust hole on the entire car. There is almost no "rust rotting" as far as I can tell anywhere on this vehicle. As I described before I have not removed the vinyl top to see the condition of the roof; however, feeling the underside of the roof when I am in the vehicle feels perfectly in tact but I have no idea what you will find if and when you take it off. There is rust and dirt on the underside of the vehicle especially on the metals that would normally rust over time. Even with that rust there is no rot as far as I can tell. The wheel wells are in very good condition as well, almost no rust that I can see. There is a spot of rust on the hood and along the vinyl trim more on one side that is visible. There are also dents in the passenger door that was not in the original pictures. I will add a picture of that. That is the update. I hope that is helpful in your bidding process.
