Vehicle Detail

Here’s a recent barn find with patina. This car sat for 25 years, keeping the mileage low at 57,XXX. It runs and drives out really nice, you can drive this around and fix it up as you want. When I purchased this 3 years ago, I had a local hot rod shop get it back to a daily driver for me. They put a new intake and 4-barel Holley carb, new 17” tires and rims, lowered both the front and rear. They also installed new power brakes disk brakes. I will throw the original spindles and drum brakes that were removed. The car has A/C but will blow air, but not cold. The engine is the original 283 with a 2 speed tranny. The exhaust is a single glass pack, with deep tones. To maintain the original look, I had a $1,500 stereo which blends in as original, but has blue tooth and sounds amazing with Amp and sub in the trunk. Best part about this impala, while it has the rust patina it does not have any pitting or rust through. I run blankets on the seats, but I pulled them off to expose the original seats. This impala can be driven as is or perfect for a major overhaul since it has not been hacked on as so many cars are of this age. The reason I’m selling this car is because I just picked up my dream car, a 1934 Ford Two door sedan. While there’s lots of positives with this impala, I don’t want any surprises. I will list all the negatives with the car that I’m aware of. · The new tires in combination with it lowered, will rub on sharp turns. · Previous owner put a new gas tank and sending unit in, but gas gage doesn’t work. · Exhaust sounds great, but was poorly done. · Some of the glass is fogged from age. · Driver door glass needs help coming up · Dash clock not working · Drivers side taillight cracked This impala is for sale locally and I reserve the right to pull it off anytime in event that I sell it locally. I have made my best effort to describe the Impala to the best of its ability.
