Selling my 2002 Ford Ranger has issues and needs work heres what I know, I think it had a cracked head gasket, I used this repair fibertek stuff and it seam to fix it, no more noticeable yellow in the oil,, I think the heater core is bad It leaks sometimes from that area I cant see exactly where its coming from,, It has a new water pump.. Now after using the head gasket repair stuff I think the thermostat is stuck shut, as the water doesnt seam to go through the engine now,, the truck runs good though starts right up,,, the shifter came out and I replaced it with a kit i think i might of installed it incorrectly cause it seams harder to shift into gear,, but still shifts cracked windshield, its dirty,, heater and ac work, replaced fuel pump one year ago. Id rather you come look at it before buying it... I can be driven home if you live close if to far it will over heat... i just started it before posting it and the thermostat does not seem to be sticking,, as of now..
