Bought this bike to ride having not ridden in 30 years-this bike is too big and fast for me so I am going to go with a smaller bike for now maybe even a Vespa. This is a police bike that was used by the Department of Environmental Protection police to patrol a NYC reservoir. Maintained as expected for a police bike this is in great shape. Auxilliary police lights were removed but crash bars remain. Glove box has hookup for a secondary battery for lights and accessories. BMW dealer told me that this bike has a larger alternator and is much faster than a stock 1100. Please no more zero feedback buyers. If you need to finance this bike or ask your wife's permission then maybe you should look for something else.
