Vehicle Detail
This car is bad ass, and a blast to drive. 1975 Pontiac Trans Am. The following is the best description I can give you of the car, and everything I know about it. This car has the original, numbers matching block and transmission in it. The heads are from a pre-emissions 1967 Pontiac 400. The intake is a Edelbrock performer, the carb is a holley 750 CFM carb. THIS IS A MUNCIE 4 SPEED CAR! AN ABSOLUTE BLAST TO DRIVE. VERY STRONG CAR. PAINT: The paint on MOST of the car is a 10 out of a 10, with the exception of the following; There is a dent in the passenger door- minor, but needs to be repaired because it is noticable. There is some small cracking on the front and the rear bumpers (common on these cars). There is a small rock dent (about the size of a door ding or hail dent) on the drivers front fender by the front wheel. The paint is very shiny and bright. Matching the color will not be a problem. It is not faded at all. INTERIOR The interior overall is an 8 out of a 10 in my opinion. No rips or tears in the seats, no problems with the carpet. The Passenger seat does not move back and forth- the cable is broken (again- common on these vehicles, and an easy fix). The speedometer does not work currently, but it will soon I think. The plastic transmission gear was eaten up. I have the new one, but I just need to put it in. The tach does not work, but I think it is probably just a wire issue. It sits at 1400 RPM's. The rest of the gauges work, and there is a mechanical Oil Pressure and Water Temperature gauge that I added for more accuracy. This install is done very well, and looks very nice. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL A/C CAR. However, the only remaining part for the A/C is the Evaporator core the controls inside, and the inside air box. The Air conditioning compressor and the condensor/dryerr/lines are not there. The trunk is lined with a ceramic coating, and done very nicely. There is no carpet in the trunk, and it is just bare right now. There is a rubber grommet missing on the left rear area of the trunk. Easy $4.00 fix. All Lights work perfectly, All blinkers, hazzards, brake lights, headlights, brights, all work great. Starter drags just a little bit after the car is warmed up, but has never left me stranded. I DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY MILES ARE ON THIS CAR! THE SPEEDO IS NOT WORKING RIGHT NOW! SHOWING 95,000 right now.
