Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my Ford Ranger that I have owned for 4 years now. I bought it with 85,000 miles on it and have put about 85,000 miles on it since I've owned it. I have changed the oil every 5,000 miles with only Mobil 1 fully synthetic 5W-30 motor oil. It runs good and get about 22 miles a gallon and there is a list of newer parts below. Recently I thought the fuel pump went out and replaced it but it turns out the fuel pump wasn't bad and that possibly the PCM needs to be replaced, which is about $200. The truck will only run if the fuel pump is turned on manually by the inertia switch. I drove it like this for 3 months with no issues as long as it gets turned off so the battery doesn't die. I figure for $200 the trick can be fixed and easily driven for another 50,000 or so miles as the 3.0 engines regularly average well over 200,000 miles. There are a few dents here and there but nothing out the ordinary for an 18 year old vehicle. Also the rear sliding window was replaced with a piece of plexiglass. Here is a list of new or newer parts replaced in the last 4 years. New radiatorNew water pumpNew IEC valveNew batteryNew BF Goodrich tires at 140,000New brakesNew timing belt and coverNew grill and headlights (hit a deer, minor hood and fender dent) I'm sure i forgot some things, but i have a folder full of receipts. Obviously truck does not have a warranty so it is sold as is. Feel free to ask any questions. Truck is not currently registered. Thanks for looking.
